LOOK GOOD,
FEEL GOOD

Put your own unwanted fat to work FOR you.

GENTLY MOVE FAT FROM WHERE YOU DON'T WANT IT AND USE IT TO HEAL YOUR PAIN

Our BeautiFill® system is the first laser-based fat transfer technology to streamline the fat transfer process in one simple step. We then use the fat to promote healing in your OWN body.

All done in-office, with little-to-no downtime.

At Piedmont Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PPMR), we use the cutting-edge laser fat transfer system to loosen and harvest excess fat cells from areas like the chin, hips, and abdomen and then transfer them to an injured area to promote healing.

As fat is a known source of cells with regenerative qualities, we're able to activate healing WHILE removing unwanted fat.

The procedure uses a 1470 nm wavelength, laser-encased cannula to loosen and harvest the excess fat cells, which is then gently suctioned out and rapidly processed for transfer to another body area. The laser energy also tightens lax skin, reducing the risk of sagging once the fat is removed.

How It Works

Why laser fat transfer at PPMR?

Laser-assisted Fat Harvesting and Liposuction with our BeautiFill system is FDA approved and safe in the hands of a trained doctor, like PPMR's Dr. Terzella.

Patients are able to use their own fat cells to promote healing, while also removing unwanted fat from other areas of their bodies. The laser treatment also helps to tighten the skin, leading to an improved look and feel in the removal location.

Fat cells can be used for structural support in joints and soft tissues, leading to decreased pain and increased function.

The procedure is done in the PPMR office, with only local anesthesia needed. It's a quick procedure, reducing the risk of trauma to the skin and keeping post-procedure pain minimal.

Recovery is mild, with many patients finding only 2-3 days of light recovery time.
